This isn’t working for me. I removed the account, deleted the application data. And then I logged back into the app. I asked for an unlock a few seconds after 5pm CES. Same message but plus 1 day.
I gave up. The official global support doesn’t care and refers to the community. The community forum is full of questions about how to unlock and that nothing works. I don’t want to go the unofficial way. I have lost all trust in Xiaomi. I am planning to buy a Nothing phone.
I just installed eos 2.5 on a Xiaomi 11 Lite 5G NE.
The phone was running under HyperOS 1.0.4 with android 14.
Two tips that might help (since the documentation is not up to date):
I followed the instructions from this thread to unlock the bootloader : https://xdaforums.com/t/how-to-unlock-bootloader-on-xiaomi-hyperos-all-devices.4654009/#post-89658201
I applied many times (something like 30 times) to micommunity app to be granted with a unlock bootloader.
Then I downgraded to android 13 using MIUI 14 : MIUI 14 - MIUI 14 STABLE RELEASE | Unofficial Xiaomi European Community | MIUI ROM Since 2010
Then I installed eos 2.5-t * following the documentation. Good luck and thanks to eos
I am unlocking a new Xiaomi - 11 Lite 5G NE for now. Until now no problems. It is easier to unlock when the phone is not updated to the newest vesion, so you can skip the mi community app part and go directly with deeloper options.
On my new computer the newest version of mi unlocker was not able to find the phone. with the old computer there was no problem.
The problem is that I already have HyperOS. I have read the article before and it was not useful to me.
I’ve been trying to unlock it using the community app for months, but with no success.
I finally gave up, Xiaomi is no longer a trustworthy company for me.
After installing driver from mi unlock 6 & 7 everything works fine.
