Xiaomi Mi8 (dipper) - sound issues during phone calls

Hi,

after problems on my mi8 (dipper) with LineageOS 18.1 I installed /e/OS, but it’s still the same:
during regular phone calls the bottom mic is amplified so much that it hurts: The slightest touch on the bottom is unbearably loud.

It must be a software issue since everything works well with loudspeaker, bluetooth or with Signal and Whatsapp. Apparently introduced around January ± 1 month in 2022. Other users report it, too.
