I think this is the perfect candidate for a unit that can be given support for a long time. It has a very good screen with 120Hz, without burn-in problems, more than decent CPU and GPU for most task with good support, and even good speakers!
It has recently become cheaper too. There are too few good tablets that work with eOS at the moment.
I’m a Xiaomi owner/fan/spreader, so you can certainly count on my support !
How about involving someone @xda with a post ?
We do also trying to stimulate device trees maintainers by opening “issues” (= build requests) like this @GH:
Found this today: GitHub - Lynnrin-Studio/android_device_xiaomi_nabu: WIP, force push warning
I really hope someone capable can support this. It is the most interesting Android tablet with good specs for a decent price.
