I checked the list of supported devices and had to find out that the /e/ OS is not available for Xiaomi Redmi Note 8 Pro unfortunately. It is also not There is no plan for it and also no unofficial build. But I know a lot of friends that have Xiaomi Redmi Note 8 Pro and interested in data privacy.

There is no plan for it and also no unofficial build.

Since Redmi Note 8 is MediaTek Helio G90T based (= no sources was/will be available), you have to look at GSI builds:

hi, @Jazzda, you could try installing the “simple dialer” app from F-droid as it is / it was a workaround for an alternative and finally working s6/s6edge build.
