Xperia XZ2 Compact - AirPlane mode issue - PIN SIM

Hi,

My son’s XZ2 Compact as an issue with airplane mode :
The phone asks for the SIM card’s PIN number when getting out of Airplane Mode, just like after turning it off and on again.

Does anyone as the same problem, and a fix for It.

For supervising reasons, I don’t want my son to know the PIN number, but now it’s problematic when he’s away from home, he can’t put it in airplane mode.

Did you check if SIM card lock is allowed?

Settings > Security > More security settings > SIM card lock.

(There are some other security settings in Security you might check.)
