Hi guys, are there any ways to make the blue dot - my location - in Google Maps point to the directions my phone faces? It works in Magic Earth but not in Google Maps. Normally after hitting the “find my location” logo the second time, Google Maps will show a blue array which follow the directions your phone is pointing to. Now it just doesn’t work.
This is one of the most important functions I would like to have on my phone. I might have to leave /e/ OS if I can’t get this to work.

A typo? In Magic Earth tapping the Compass icon, top right, to toggle the “follow phone direction”. I had to do this outdoors to test it just now.
Oh yes, it was a typo, “…but not in Google Maps”. Could you test it in Google Maps also?

Are you using a Google app or an html variant? The latter might be safer, but I never tested.
Either way Advanced privacy would attempt to block you sending to Google the “direction you were facing”.
