Advanced Privacy Notifications

Ever since I updated to e/OS 3.2, Advanced Privacy has been giving me notifications every time an app has a leak. How I do stop the notifications? I looked in notifications and the advanced privacy section itself but couldn’t find any settings to do it.

(there was a bug as to daylight savings recently with spurious notifications, did you run into that?)

the global switch is disabled, but you can disable per subtype:

Settings → Notifications → App notifications
→ change: Most recent → All apps
→ change upper right: show system

Yes I am getting same notification and an Icon is running in the top left of screen. I think this is by design in 3.2. I thought Advanced Privacy was running all the time anyway?

OK I turned off the Icon: Allow notification dot switch to OFF and no more Icon. Either way it’s still running, will see if I still get notified when I add more apps. @tcecyk thanks for this info.

This worked. much appreciated. My next question is, was advanced privacy always running in the background pre-3.2? Now I see it active. Can I set it so it doesn’t run in the background?

What about Settings/Advanced privacy? If that is not sufficient you can still flash stock OEM ;- )

You can deactivate it. Of course that means that trackers aren’t blocked anymore (unless you do it via some other method).

If activated, it must run in the background to serve its purpose, obviously.

By default the tracker blocker in Advanced Privacy is turned on, Location and IP feature are not
