App Lounge cannot load apps

I’m using a Fairphone 4, and everything is updated as of today (App Lounge v2.13.10, /e/OS v3.1.4)

I cannot load or search for any apps in the App Lounge. It’ll try, and then pop up with a message that says “Common apps unavailable”. When I select “More Info”, it says “Unable to reach Google Play API”. It’s been like this for several days now.

I have tried two different Google accounts and the anonymous account, I’ve rebooted the device, and I’ve cleared the cache and storage. Nothing seems to work. I can use YouTube fine, so the issue is not my connection or issues with Google services. Also, curiously, it can download and install updates for apps I already have.

This has been an on-and-off problem for a while, but it’s never been this persistent. Should I just abandon this and use some other alternative, or is there some other fix I haven’t tried?

I cannot load any to begin with, like I said. Installing isn’t even an option while this is happening.

I’ll look forward to the update.
