App Lounge fails to install applications

Hi everyone. I recently installed /e/os on my A52s 5G and it is a fantastic experience.

But App Lounge fails to install anything, I cleared cache and data, signed out and signed back in, disabled the blocking of app trackers, and it still fails to install applications.

Any idea how to fix it?

FDroid, Aurora Store work perfectly and I am able to install apps using either.

Thanks

Then keep Aurora Store and the F-Droid Client, AppLounge is not perfect. I didn’t use it that often but for other reasons I switched away from it.

I am okay with it not being perfect. But for an app store I believe the basic functionality of installing applications should work.

I agree. Here is someone else with a similar problem:

Maybe it helps…

F-Droid and Aurora. You won’t be missing anything running those store apps. Aurora is pretty darn reliable and F-Droid picks up the open source apps that may not be available in the Google store.

The one thing App Lounge does the others don’t is provide tracker info in the app listings. However App Lounge can have reliability issues. App Lounge is a great idea, but it’s just not solid at this point.

As well as being reliable, Aurora has another advantage over App Lounge. With a Google login and a payment method set up on the account, Aurora can buy apps at the Google store. App Lounge can only handle free apps.
