Hello, i noticed that behind the apps icons at the bottom of the home screen, there is a kind of filter applied on the background image. More, when you swipe right and left, the background image is ‘cut’ between these two parts; there is a kind of delay for the bottom part.
Are you referencing the bottom say 1/6th of the Home screen (and other screens) where we expect a “Dock”, maybe with 4 (or so) favourite icons. Bliss includes a “Blurr” feature in the Dock. An explanation here Meet the Bliss Launcher -/e/OS’ default launcher - #39 by petefoth.
Some Wallpaper images may look a bit odd with the “Blur effect” (??). Perhaps try with a more plain wallpaper or a different Launcher [HOWTO] Start to customise /e/.
yes it’s about the dock because in the last versions, the blur effect was remove (very good idea). But instead of the blur effect there is this strange delay between the background’s top part and the dock part
can you report the bug with the last information i said (those are more precise) because my mail doesn’t work with the e-os gitlab (i’m trying to fix the problem).
Regarding the “strange delay” … just a thought … are you perhaps seeing the “blur” happen in real time … does a more simple (smaller pixels) wallpaper behave differently?
I have a 4k x 3k resolution background and there is no more blur in the last blisslauncher version, i think i read that in the release note of e-os 2.9. So i don’t understand why there is a bug…
Hère, if you look at thé bottom of the screen, you can see a cut between the apps part and the dock part. It is more flagrant un vidéo but i cannot joint videos.
