Bank apps and Android Auto not working

Hi everyone

I’m very new with eos Murena and it seems very complicated to use so I come here for help. Thank you for your understanding.

My device :
The Fairphone (Gen. 6) with e/OS by Murena
e/OS version 3.0.4-a15-20250708507307-official-FP6
Android 15

Problem 1 :
I have a problem with my banking apps. I live in France and I have two banking apps. I can easily install the apps, I can log in and see my bank account in each app but I can’t use something called “securipass”. It’s supposed to be a way to secure online paiements with a validation on the phone.

For exemple. My first bank is “Credit Agricole”. When I try to activate the “securipass” on the app it sends me a message with a link. I followed the link with different browsers (firefox and the default one) and it says the same thing : Forbidden, You don’t have permission to access this ressource.

Does someone have a similar problem ?

Problem 2 :
Android Auto : I tried to follow the guide and installed the several google apps required but it doesn’t work. It worked with my privious phone “Samsung S20 FE 5G”. My phone detect the connexion and says “Android Auto. No App installed compatible with USB accessory. Know more on the website Android Auto | Android”.

Thank you for reading me

I found lately FireFox or FireFox based browsers seem have become quite troublesome with google’s advancements and changes. For example I cannot view youtube video comments on fire fox any more this is just one of many issues I have been having. Another would be some programs downloaded through firefox don’t work or have some other issues. firefox is really getting left behind. When I changed to chromium based like opera it resolved every issue I was having with firefox. So a change of browser to something more google compatible might solve your first problem.
Your second problem could be a microg issue or bug or compatibility issue with google services; the latter being the most probable.

P1: if you search for securipass you’ll get a few hits in the forum. Imo you’ll need to wait for 1-2 releases until the FP6 build is proper, it’s still a userbuild and invites banking ups tripping up.

P2: “It worked with my previous phone” - that exact message was mentioned here. Feedback on the current Android Auto stub solution has been mixed, as a bystander I can’t say what it’s up to
