Banking app closing

Hi,

New to /e/os.
I’ve used custom roms for a long time now. I’m used to installing magisk etc.
Wanted to de-google for a while, and finaly got to it.

I’m on a xiaomi redmi note 10 pro (sweet).

My banking app is closing, redericting me to a page saying the phone is rooted.

Other app that requires high security work (in Belgium, Payconiq to pay with QR code, Itsme to connect to official online apps).

I’ve tried installing magisk, hiding my banking app, installing neozygisk, play integrity fix, tricky store, zygisk assistant, lsposed, but nothing works for my banking app.

Any idea what I can check ? I don’t know if it could be the keybox banned (don’t undestand much about that, could the other app work if it’s the case ?).

Hey there, maybe ‘unroot’ your device? You don’t need root constantly either?

I thought /e/os wasn’t rooted by default ?

My app wasn’t working before I installed Magisk.

I’ve seen the other post about banking app, but don’t find anything heplfull in there, as my other app requiring high security are working.

I have a government app, works on one device and it doesn’t on other. Same build as in android version, type versionnumber, etc.
There could be something device specific which is somewhere in a .prop file :man_shrugging::man_shrugging:.

My app worked on my phone on other android builds. So I’m puzzled.

You mean others than /e/OS when you write of ‘android builds’?

No, crdroid, and other builds like that.

/e/OS is not crdroid…maybe both have LineageOS as basis but everyone cooks their own sauce
