Camera without login

The camera app offers the possibility to take pictures without having to login first. I have two issues here:

  1. When opening the camera via the login screen it asks me for my PIN first. If you are in a hurry (parents know what I mean) this is not good.
  2. If I link the app via the Display settings it does not work without logging in at all.
    Am I doing anything wrong here?

There is an setting to check in your camera app settings. Something like “allow on lock screen”

Try the option “camera quick opening” in device settings menu. When set you can start the camera by a double click on the power button from lock screen.
Maybe the first use from lock screen will ask you for the pin. After that it should work without pin.

Thank you! Double clicking the power button is what I was missing here. In the German translation the setting is called something like “SHOW camera even if screen is locked”. This is a little misleading.
