I’ve been trying to install the app “comdirect photoTAN App” (ID com.comdirect.phototan) on my Murena Tablet for more than a week now, and it’s always failing: either AppLounge reports “App cannot be found”, displays the “Retry” button next to the search result, or keeps loading when trying to open the app’s detail page.
When trying to install this app on an Android device without /e/OS (stock Samsung ROM), everything works smoothly.
I’ve also stopped AppLounge, cleared the cache and app’s data several times, but no luck.
@Manoj can you maybe talk to the team and check whether there is something wrong on the server-side of AppLounge?
I cannot reproduce this on 3.2-a15-20251024539369-community-ocean. The app was slow to load its details page on App Lounge (it was also found on Aurora store but untested) but the download and install went ok and the app opens to login with no apparent difficulty.
@mu88 I just managed to install the app on my /e/OS device with AppLounge. Are you logged in with your Google account in AppLounge or are you using the Anonymous mode ? Sometimes Anonymous mode has some country / age restriction issues.
From my experience I tend to install only from the loaded details page; I sense that App Lounge storage can be compromised by any partial failure even to load the details.
Ofc I have Aurora store for the days when App Lounge fails.
Yes, I’m running the latest version of /e/OS on my Murena tablet. I’m fully aware that it most probably will work using Aurora, but my question is about fixing in AppLounge
