I try to simply share a calendar between two users I’ve created and log in at murena.io
I use the share calendar menu shown below.
I know one must type in a known user account to let murena look for it and then display it as a banner, so you can choose it afterward. I tried both ‘user’ and ‘user@murena.io’. None are recognized.
I am sure this account exists, because sharing files the same way works well (sharing box is the same as for calendars btw).
I’ve read another post in 2020 that led to a bug, which in turn has been fixed Jan 2024, having this very behaviour. So I would suggest a regression ? Linked with murena’s blackout of end 2024 ?
I have used this feature in the past successfully, I have just now tried to reproduce your problem but could not: I am able to see in the drop-down list the murena account that I am looking for to share the calendar with.
Can you try the other around: sharing the other person’s calendar to your murena account ?
Might do the trick faster that waiting for support to answer (provided you have a paying account).
While creating the accounts, I used a login mail made of upper case and lower case characters.
I store it personally as is, and then mainly use copy paste
I discover that murena-cloud has converted it to lowercase only, without any advice.
That’s visible, once connected, in the ‘personal info’ of the account settings.
Surprisingly, this is not a problem for loging in, as it appears murena-cloud does the same lowercase conversion before checking
Unfortunately, this is no done while checking an account for sharing purposes, leading to a usage inconsistency.
The solution is to manually convert to lowercase while typing any account name for sharing. quite weird.
