trying to use easy installer on cmf phone 1
but stuck at step 7 (no devices found)
was getting stuck at step 9 before. (install/ bootmode)
not sure what to do or how to fix it.
also, my options for usb transfer are all greyed out now

i’ve seen that maybe i need a driver.
I got past step 7 (moved usb to a different port)
but now im stuck on step 9 again (ready to install eos but device can’t be found)
Go to the Device Manager (with phone connected to PC) and see what it says for the device.
Probably you will find a better driver using Windows update > optional updates.

I’ve been using the fastboot driver from Windows Update, have not had any problems with it.
I’ve also a Nothing CMF 1, I tried the easy installer from both a Linux PC and a Windows laptop. Both attempts failed. At the end I did it with fastboot. I made some (dutch) notes. Perhaps it is usefull? Nothing CMF1 met murena

it shows up under android phone as “Android ABD Interface”
Notice here the recommendation to keep Device manager window open during the whole process. [Solved] Windows does not see my phone in Fastboot mode.

now im on step 13 (installing)
The fastboot text has moved from the bottom left to the middle left of the screen, and the easy installer says “this might take some time” but i don’t see any progress bar, so I’m not sure if the process has stalled or is just being slow
its been over 2 hours and theres still no progress bar
You have not really given us a lot to go on ! 
In what state is your phone now?
The process must have stalled … sadly there is no documented way to collect a progress log.
Did you fix this? In the prelude to the install there would have been a list of tasks to complete, were they all completed satisfactorily.
You mentioned drivers … did you get this fully sorted … did you never see 
Problem device again?
The command line install page Install /e/OS on a Nothing Nothing CMF Phone 1 - “tetris” is not so hard to follow and the install is done with a script … if you get a problem it is easy to simply copy and paste the previous successful command plus the failing command and error encountered.
Alternatively as you read through install the page maybe it will become more clear where the earlier problems might have occurred.
