Com.google.android.gms Update listed in Aurora in eOS v3.0.4 official?

Hi,

I’ve installed eOS official in my Fairphone6 from /e/OS official FP6 download
and integrity was ok:

After installing Aurora (had problems with “App Lounge” not installing certain Apps) I noticed that Aurora suggests Updates which App Lounge not lists at all:

(could not place Screenshot_20250827-163559_Aurora Store here because not more than one picture is allowed – edit: could use it in another topic as example: No markup / pencil annotation option in Gallery app?)

This is the first question. The second is: Why there is a Googe Play Update on eOS official?

Best regards
Another happy eOS user

Because of microG mimicking Google Play services to make Google-dependent Apps work on /e/OS, and you can turn this misidentification off in Aurora Store’s settings, the forum search has details … Search results for 'com.google.android.gms aurora order:latest' - /e/OS community

New question: At Github I found the changelog of microG (Release v0.3.9.250932 · microg/GmsCore · GitHub)
There seem to be a newer version than installed through /e/OS. They mention about improvements for Inapp buys, where my wie has a sincere problem after switching to /e/OS shortly.

Is it possible to install the newer version of microG through the apks the point to (“Users on devices with an aftermarket custom operating system (“Custom ROM”) that supports microG should install com.google.android.gms-250932018.apk and com.android.vending-84022618.apk. These versions are also distributed through the microG F-Droid repository.”)? Any experiences with it?

Thank you!

No its not possible with /e/OS to update microg manually, atleast not with some app store.
