No markup / pencil annotation option in Gallery app?

Hi,

using a Fairphone6 with eOS v3.0.4 official since some weeks I´’m missing a simple way to comment a picture with a pencil tool. For example: Drawing a red or green circle around an object.

My Fairphone3 (running standard Android) has such an option and the Gallery app does not feel “complete” without such an option to markup something. Sure, I can install another Gallery app but I think it would be better to have such a basic tool in the standard Gallery app.

Or did I miss the option which is there?

Same here.
I installed Markup from some forum on the internet, works fine - but it would be cool to have Markup (or a good alternate) ‘out of the box’

I am also missing this feature. Still looking for some alternative opensource app for this. Cant really find anything in “app lounge”, either its far to complex image edit tool, or a gallery app of which it is not known if it has this feature.

fossify gallery has a pencil and some other basic editing properties… It’s a very good basic gallery app that I prefer over the built-in gallery.
