Creating a Murena account not after a fresh install

Using /e/OS Setup

The phone I am talking about is a Google Pixel 4a5g, bramble. I set this up for a friend but did not have a username (of the users choosing) at the time so I skipped the account creation.

The account has been created online and is valid but when I go to add the account in the phone under Setting>Accounts> Add account then try to select Murena.io it doesn’t work.

What am I doing incorrect, anyone?
I know in the past I have reset a phone to add the account with a fresh install if I need to go that way I can but rather not.
