Credit card alternative

Hello everyone,

I’m new to /e/ Os which I think is great.
I’m trying to import my credit card on my phone.
I was previously on SamsungPay, do you know of an alternative?

Thanks a lot

I understand mobile payments are a user expectation by now, but there is no facility in /e/OS to handle creditcard nfc payments.

Even if you install Google Pay, you need the real Google Play Services in the background for it to work, /e/OS surrogate “microG” keeps those payment Apps at best from crashing. There hasn’t been positive user feedback on Samsung Pay either, likely relying on proprietary Samsung components being present on-device that /e/OS can’t ship with.

The best chance to use the phone as a point-of-sale payment device is via Paypal, payment systems specific to your country or grocery-chain Apps that already have your payment details in a user account. You might also want to look at [LIST] Banking Apps on /e/OS
