The conclusion from the c’t-magazine (16/2022) was:
“Only /e/OS offers the combination of a helpful store, its own cloud, preloaded devices and a focus on usability.”

In detail in German: Das FAZIT aus c’t 16/2022 (S. 98 f.) lautete:
“Die interessantesten Custom-ROM-Konkurrenten aus [1] sind GrapheneOS (gehärteter, aber nur auf Pixels lauffähig), iodé (größtes Angebot an Refurbished-Modellen, besser integrierte Firewall, aber noch kein Open Source) und LineageOS (größte Geräteauswahl, aber viel Handarbeit erforderlich). Die Kombination aus hilfreichem Store, eigener Cloud, vorinstallierten Geräten und Fokus auf Benutzbarkeit bietet aber nur /e/OS.”
