Dark display at boot

Hi Everybody.

I purchased a phone from somebody and found it had a lock for the reset so it asked me for the last used account.
After a while trying the phone now went black and I hear it connect and disconnect the USB connection (Win10) but I am not able to access it.
Does somebody here has a solution for this?

Hi,

Your phone is probably in EDL mode.

Some time ago, I posted how I got a GS290 back to life, hope this will help.
NB : this post is quite old, maybe link to the stock ROM is outdated and Windows 7 is no longer mandatory …
