Hello Ronald,
the build works well, provided that a scarlet kernel is installed AFTER installing e.os.
I used the latest kernel: Releases · Atom-X-Devs/scarlet_xiaomi_sm7325 · GitHub
This fixes the issue with bands on the screen and seems to improve a little the responsiveness but could be my feeling.
The other things I wanted to flag to you are:

  1. App Lounge doesn’t work with anon account, I use Aurora which does, consider disabling it
  2. The installed browser doesn’t navigate at all, kinda of an issue to install fdroid if I didn’t have a pc
  3. Night light doesnt work at all
  4. colour setting do not work at all
  5. colour contrast doesn’t work

So far I have been using for an hour or so and it seems stable enough for daily use, provided that the kernel is replaced.

Additional feedback:
Honestly this build works better than most AOSP roms. Minor things are broken but they do not really affect the usability of this rom.
I had bliss launcher restarting once or twice, I disabled app lounge (browser now weirdly works again might have been an issue with dns) and did really not have to do anything more on it.
Thanks for sorting this out, I was struggling a bit on crdroid without the usefulness of integrated TOR, mock locations and tracker blocker…
If you plan on having more tests please let me know I am happy to run them.

Perfectly stable for daily use this far.
Many thanks for building this

Adding one more feedback:

Battery life is somewhat exceptionally good. I was used in having my phone always warm with crdroid and sub-par battery life (had to recharge at least once during the day or won’t make it).
Now I do not need to recharge at all and I still have about 35% of battery in the evening (I limit charge at 85%)

Ok noticed something strange, the phone reboots at intervals.
I’ve found on multiple occasions that the phone had rebooted 2-3h ago.
This happens when the phone is left charging overnight of during the day and not used for a couple of hours.
I’ve never actually observed it rebooting during use, not I’ve seen it reboot while not in use.
But it does reboot, uptime is changed and it asks for the pin.
