Does keyboard have speech recognition?

Can’t find speech recognition button on the keyboard.

I’m using last community build version.

I installed AnySoftKeyboard in combination with Futo. This works well for me. They will need configuration.

Maybe, just the futo keyboard is a perfect tool for you. I din’t test it.

P.S.: all open source or something close to that

Hi! I’m on 2.7-t-official on a FP5 and also use FUTO. There was no need for another keyboard app. Just using the keyboard symbol in the lower right corner of the installed keyboard brings up a little menue, in which you can choose FUTO as input method.

Thank you very much !!! It’s a happy day for me ! I really enjoy using e/OS every day but the lack of a speech recognition system in French whas a very pity to me. Thanks to your post and this Futo app I finally recover one of the last iPhone feature I really missed since I switched to Murena eOS

You can also try “Whisper” (-> F-Droid).
It works fine on my FP5 / + e/OS 2.8!

In the meantime, there are even more open source alternatives.

My current setup includes HeliBoard as my prime keyboard and Whisper for speech to text. They work great as ensemble.

However, you may like Futo better.

Moreover, for text to speech I use SherpaTTS
