I can confirm this issue with my GS290. Reported on Github.
My understanding is the Bluetooth echo is fixed in the next /e/ release (version 0.18) which will be available the 3rd week of August 2021.

Finally fixed… I was waited 8 months for this. By the way /e/ os is much stable than lineage os with micro g what i was use in last phone. Great job e team!
