I have to correct my statement.
There are two issues:
It seems that something is wrong with the location services. After about a day the phone is unable to get a GPS connection. If I restart the phone, it works without any issues again (for a while)
Pressing āupdate allā in app lounge does nothing. Pressing āupdateā for each app works as expected
Yes, I have last security patches. Both mail and account manager drains battery by far in compare to anything else. It seems, there was Murena maintenance on 05.09 when this started
Iām afraid i canāt help you to solve that issue as it is due to a murena service that i canāt act onā¦
Maybe if you ask manoj or aibd their help will be more usefullā¦
Thereās still a chance that it gets resolved by itself however. Good luck
Oh ye im dumb, you donāt have a fairphone but a teracube ! Each patch is different from a device to another, theyāre made by the vendor ! So i think this is not a big deal. If youāre worried you can check the latest vendor patch for the teracube. I think it may be on the device page.
@Vink3645, thank you !
On my GS290 with e/os 2.2-s, I couldnāt see the ālineageos-updateā folder. Found only ( journal is a 31 bytes file) :
āAndroid/data/org.lineageos.eleven/cache/ImageCache/journalā .
So, I will download an update-zip from ota.ecloud.global and proceed the Recovery-update through a nano-SD-card, as @Piero suggest.
Brieucs.
Hello,
I noticed that the circular icon showing the battery level, when the top bar is displayed, does not graphically show the level.
If the battery is used as an icon it does show graphically.
On other screens, with the circle icon it does show graphically.
Could it be a bug or is it a configuration issue?
Displays the level with the battery
With the top bar displayed, the circle always looks complete even if it does not have 100% of the load.
on other screens you can see the charge level with the circle
Main issues have been with apps. The two problematical ones that are intermittent are Camera (freezing and if rotate phone to new horizontal position get inverted image), Magic Earth (can sometimes take several attempts to get working with data and location switched on, and sometimes decides to only run as Demo and not Start. One app, Weather (canāt find it in App Store anymore) crashed before launching or rather never launched. The upside to this is I found a better weather app, weawow.
Vendor: Fairphone
Codename: FP3+
Supplier: e-foundation
Upgraded from previous 2.2 update. Stock update.
Not rooted
(Comment about the reference table: the column headers need to be written to reflect information required, i.e., Vendor, Codename. Perhaps supplier needs to be added, particularly regard to Fairphone, manufacturer or e-foundation.)
Maybe it makes more sense to put this here (and not in the dev thread, where I posted it initially, sorry ā¦): This issue was probably introduced when updating my FP3 from 2.2t to 2.3t stable.
It seems as if a few apps from f-droid are not available in latest version in e/OS/ app store, e.g. Element Android which is 1.6.18 whereas 1.6.20 is available in f-droid.
without any problem(?) afterwards - as far as I can say.
At the moment Iām writing also a āsoft rebootā and enter pin screen occurs,
less often then in the versions before.
Regards,
Fritz
PS.: After the reboot this system dialog appeared:
Device works well. VoLTE and VoWiFi works! Dual Frequency GNSS is missing I see only GPS L1 satellites. There is no resolution selection and it seems to be running in lower resolution (confirmed in CPU-Z). There is no provision for using fingerprint. Camera tries to use TOF sensor (I guess). Camera crashes occasionally, same as on Samsung Galaxy S10+ beyond2lte. This is my first day, so I am not very versed with functions yet, as I am still installing apps and changing settings.
