I’ve noticed that as of at least 6 days ago, people have not been receiving my text messages. However, I am able to receive text messages sent to me. I don’t remember when I updated to my current version of /e/OS. I’ve never had this problem before, other than very occasional SMS text messages I send that are not received. I’ve been trying to work out the problem with my mobile carrier today (Tello in the United States). The main thing we tried was doing a reset of “Wi-Fi,mobile Bluetooth”. The carrier agent also said that they would reset things on their end. However, these courses of action were not successful in fixing my problem. Previously I had tried resetting my phone and disconnecting my vpn prior to sending text messages, but neither strategy worked.
Issues with Tello were explored in this thread MMS messages not sending/receiving where the reported problem was non-sending of MMS. One MMS solution was proposed, but the more general position with Tello seemed unresolved. (Only if useful to you, feel free to add any comments to that thread.)

I already posted about an issue with esim. More than 6 months ago, i installed an esim (private number) on my FP4 paid by the boss with a physical sim.
During 6 months, I need to switch because the 2 sims cannot work at the same time. People who meet this problem have two different providers.
When is the next version scheduled? Are the developers working on this issue?
If nothing is done, I suppose I need to change OS because I’m losing too much calls. I’m desperate.
Thank you @aibd. I looked through that, but my problem is with SMS rather than MMS. I’m thinking that it might be an issue with the “Message” app. I see an option to “Sync messages”, but I haven’t tried it yet. Does anyone know if that would be a smart thing to try or if I should avoid it because it could somehow backfire?
I have pressed Message app > Settings > Sync messages, one or twice in the past with no good or bad result; it is only a sync with the existing Android SMS database, so to my mind there should really be “nothing to do”.
However, just now, I did trigger receipt of a new SMS! – correction, an existing message became marked unread. Seems to me a good idea in your position.
@aibd I went through the “Sync messages” process, but it did not solve the problem. However, I did notice some glitchy changes to my text messages. I saw a lot of empty timestamps. Some with contacts or phone numbers I had other message exchanges with and some with phone numbers I have zero message exchanges with, other than the empty timestamps.
Since I made the backup, I’ve gone ahead and have wiped the messages and am currently importing from the backup I made.
I’m using SMS Import / Export for all of this. I’ve used it before when switching phones and it seemed to do the job well. However, the one problem I do recall is with group messages not transferring properly. I think they might have not transferred at all. I’m not sure if the developer has since fixed this glitch/deficiency or if the same issue persists. I’ll find out though. And if I lose all of my group messages, it won’t be too much of a problem for me . . . just an “Oh well…”
UPDATE: My group messages DO seem to have transferred properly this time It was a pleasant surprise and relief to see Hats off to the developer for the update!
It turns out that there was no issue at all with my phone or software. I just learned from an email I received from Tello customer service that a Tello algorithm had blocked outgoing texts on my line, claiming that my texting behavior reflected non-residential use. I called and explained to customer service that this is NOT the case. I explained to them that the group texting activity I participate in with co-workers is what most likely triggered this algorithmic block. However, they said that I’ll still need to wait 5 days for the block to be removed and that they cannot guarantee that I will be blocked again in the future. Based on my conversations, the conclusion is that they are not willing to do anything to compensate me for all of the time I’ve lost trying to fix this problem, nor are they willing to place my number on a whitelist to prevent this from happening to me again in the future. I also complained to them that I never received a notification from Tello that my outgoing texts were blocked and why (this would have saved me a ton of time and effort!). They just said that that’s the way the system works: blocking without any type of alert or notification.
I’m really upset with Tello for all of this. Take this as a warning in case you have or are considering Tello. And remember this in case it might happen to you with a different carrier.

With the update to version 2.7 I have detected that the geolocation in the /e/ browser and in other browsers (such as Firefox, duckduckgo) is wrong.
I have checked the permissions, they have accurate geolocation.
In the previous version (2.6.3) the geolocation in the /e/ browser was accurate. In other browsers I don’t know because I haven’t used them until now.
In the Maps application the geolocation is good in version 2.7 (also before in 2.6.3).
I haven’t found any bug about this. on other devices does it work fine?
