Yes, my VPN app allows you to exclude apps. If I remove “App Lounge” from the VPN, it remains unusable.
I have now even created a Google account. But when I press “Sign in with Google” the following error appears:

I have no specific clue how to resolve this issue - I´d assume a DNS-issue (?) have you ever tried without VPN, I mean VPN completely OFF? (and be it just for the sake of testing…)
What You can do anyways:
Install F-Droid (for FOSS-Apps) and Aurora Store (for all others from the g-shop) on your device.
You can download F-Droid from the link and install it afterwards, then you find Aurora Store within F-Droid for download and install - you can login anonymously in both of them and these two apps should enable You to update all apps that were previously installed by App Lounge.

To make it work, I excluded App Lounge from my VPN and created a Google account.
However, the online banking app “Bitpanda” is no longer shown in the updates. Should I open a separate topic for this? Or how could I update it manually?

Basic stability with NordVPN on this phone was not very good, but since the switch to version 2.7 T all 5-10 minutes force to force the stop to reconnect to the vpn because it does not succeed in reconnecting . The network is currently unstable
Re Bitpanda and the N/A respone and “Unsupported app”. This is a known defect in app-lounge for some users.
Please try Logout App Lounge from App Lounge Settings, icon bottom right, then …
Settings > Apps > All apps > App Lounge > Storage > Delete storage. Reboot. Reopen App Lounge > Accept new T&C > Anonymous login and try again.
Second time the device is switched on but with a black screen.
The previous time it happened with version 2.6.3.
I have to press the buttons to boot into fastboot to be able to reboot the device.

Update went fine, some issue though…
#1 Roaming does not work when travelling to another country. I don’t have any data connection when in another country. Tried all kinds off different settings, but nothing worked.
As I travel quite frequently to other EU countries this is very anoying to not have data connection.
In any other country than my own I have to rely on Wifi instead of 4G / 5G…
This issue exist already since I started using e/os… and this is getting very annoying…
#2 Not able to sort my icons, when trying to insert a icon between 2 other icons, these icons do not move and let me insert the icon in between.

The navigation bar in the bottom is elevated about 1.5cm when holding the Tablet in Landscape. This covers the buttons needed in several apps. When holding the Tablet in Portrait, all is ok.
I am using v2.7 on my FP5 device for some time and I have found some issues:
Camera 1.53.1 app when used for the first time makes the phone restarted. I have no idea why - after booting again it works fine. Previously taken picture is gone or black. I didn’t test all the settings but I am using RAW format with full res. Pictures are stored on SD card.
Neutron player 2.25.3 - it cannot find music files. I configure my music folder to be scanned and as a result there is no music found. Some permissions missing? Meanwhile I noted in my car when phone was connected via bt and I changed car audio source to bt that some music statred to play with no extra configuration - It just used some os defaults - files are accessib le for sure.
There were maybe some smaller bugs I cannot remember. I upgraded from previous version OS but I didn’t test mentiones issues before so I don’t know if it worked in the pase releases.

Since this last major update to 2.7 I perceive the same major and minor issues as with 2.6.3.
The new one I just discovered is the following. I can’t change the order of my apps on the home screen. They can only be moved to another page and then end up in the last position at the bottom right. I cannot set a different position. The system does not allow this. In previous versions (not sure which was the last one working well), this went without a hitch. Now it is a serious functional error.
Still a problem is that I do not always get an immediate notification about new messages in the Signal App. Although it seems to appear less often than at 2.6.3. But it is still an issue. Seems like the same appears regularly with the standard mail app.
Another bug still there: New photo gallery app seems to put deleted photos into a trash folder. But trash remains empty. So this doesn’t work. This is related to photos and videos stored on sd card.
Smaller, but still annoying thing:
On the locked screen there is a small locked key lock icon at the bottom. This is in icy blue in contrast to the color of all the other information. This annoys me totally. I expect it all to be in the same color. Changing the respective settings doesn’t help, just all the other information is changeable. The icon is still annoyingly blueish then. This bug started with 2.6.3.
Another little but in my opinion annoying thing is the icon of the clock app. It has an classical / analogue appearance and indicates hours and minutes - and also seconds. The indicator for seconds is ticking, so to say. I really do not like that, for me it feels hectic. In the clock settings I have seconds disabled. But here they are shown here among the other apps.

I have a problem with the update from version 2.6.3 to 2.7 on my Samsung Galaxy S6 lite tablet.
The update can be downloaded and started. However, an error is displayed after restarting the device.
Another issue found: all incoming calls are shown as unknown number. I thought it’s related to some rights for dialer app, but it has access to contacts. And it does’t explain why even number is not shown. Strange. I switched from defaut dialer app to Right Dialer app - I like it more. I am not sure but I think it worked few days before. Now I noted this…
OK, I discovered that option “4G connections” caused it. I have foun similar issue with wi-fi calling - in my case it’s even worse, I need to disable 4G for voice calls. Will it be fixed…?
