Feedback for v3.2

  • Is the device Rooted / Not rooted - Device not rooted

The update took longer than normal but everything went smoothly after reboot. The update also seems to have resolved sign-in issues I was having with the Mint Mobile app as well as fixing compatibility issues with the Betterment app, which previously would not open at all. My thanks to the dev team!

The update to version 3.2 was carried out last night. At this stage everything seems to work except for the battery test. Information about the battery is available in the battery menu… but the battery test and the corresponding information are no longer accessible… See screenshots below:

Everything seems to work fine. Thanks a lot :+1:

I updated from the latest 3.1 t → 3.2 a15

Fairphone 5 (fp5)

First I saw in the settings preview that there is an update but then it was not offered. “Look for updates” did not work.

I had to change “automatically look up for updates” from weekly to daily and then it was offered to me. So the filter is also applied to look up manually

Still I did not encounter a bug on 3.2. So thank you

Same for me except mine shows 0 cycles…Also, whatsapp seems to drain my battery faster under v3.2 compared to v3.1.4.

Upgraded OTA smooothly [3.2 a15-20251024 community-rhode]

Thank you, congrats!

  • 1 eSIM, 1 physical SIM; both German

I bought the device with /e/OS pre-installed.

OTA update to 3.2-a15-20251022539003-official-FP6 went smoothly. (The progress bare in the last step (“preparing the apps” or something like that) did not really work, though: it stayed at 0% for the whole time.)

Up to now, I noticed only glitches which had already been in 3.0.4 and 3.2:

  • still no MAC randomization (I consider this a limitation of privacy)
  • the “delete” button in the PIN entry (display lock) is still invisible (though tapping on the area where it should show up does delete).

Thanks to the team for your work!

To update, I have now sideloaded the package from adb and that has succeeded.

I also have this, can’t say if it’s normal. Other camera apps don’t produce this noise though. I hope this does not put extra stress on the camera.

Is this worth opening an issue?

Update was very slow. But succeeded.

Main issue now is that some random apps cannot seem to have internet access. Advanced privacy is off; tested both on WIFI and LTE.

(well advanced privacy is supposed to off, but I still get notifications about it saying it’s on)

I can do a simple a simple web search, some apps will work. But the likes of AppLounge, whatsapp, reddit, etc (I don’t know the full extent) do not work.

Any idea? Thanks a lot

EDIT: obviously, posting this solved the issue magically! I didn’t do much, turned on/off several times everything in advanced privacy, restarted a couple of times the phone. And after 10min doing something else the phone started to buzz from incoming whatsapp messages. It’s a wonder. All back to normal, hopefully that will last. The advanced privacy seems to still be active somehow (I get notification), and I keep getting a notification about play services needing an update (was already the casebefore the update).

Hi not sure this issue was introduced with this release.

I have a “Invalid CORS request” when I try to log in my bank apps.

Apps:

Steps:

  • Open BILnet
  • Enter your LuxTrust credentials
  • Validate the request in your LuxTrust app
  • Go back to BILnet
  • A blank page appears under the bank name (actually an inner webpage with text written in white on white)
  • Long press into the blank part > select all
  • See the error message

How did you disable advanced privacy notification? I love the feature functionality, but don’t need a running play by play…and could not find any way to turn off notifications.

Long tap on the notification, then you’ll see options for disabling the notifications from the particular app.

That worked for me on FP3 a15 community build at least.

Good luck!

This also won’t work on my FP3 and FP4.

I don’t know for you, but Boursobank and Android Auto are not working on my Pixel 8.

Boursobank : I can launch the app and login but shortly after it says that the app is not from Google Play etc (don’t know what is the difference between me and other)
Android Auto : I still got the 22 error

Update to 3.2. went fine (although a bit slow due to increased demand), I don’t have any problems with the new version.

Only one thing would be great: plz add a setting where the user can select which camera app to open on double clicking the power buttton. It always opens the /e/OS camera, but I’d prefer the FP one there.

@Manoj any tips for the people for whom the download verification fails?
