Good to hear! But did your phone accept the update, that is you do now have v3.2 or did your phone hesitate_and_reject leaving you with your previous “v3.0.4”? (Non-updated as reported on the linked thread.)

Thanks again, for following me up! It did install the update, and as far as I can see everything now looks fine. Kind of rough reminder, however, on making a backup before updating the OS.

Revolut app is not working, it detects a custom installation:
Vendor Name: Xiaomi
Device name: Redmi Note 10 Pro
CodeName: Sweet
Version of /e/OS or Stock which existed previously: 3.2-A14
Is the device Rooted / Not rooted: not rooted
I manually downloaded and upgraded the existing 3.2‑A14 version to 3.2‑A15 as a local update.
Everything went smoothly, everything that worked before still works now!
Problem that was solved: The Find My Device app finally works! I’m not exactly sure how it should behave—whether it should play a sound when the SMS containing the code arrives (it does make a notification sound) and whether the notification should stay on the screen until I manually turn off the “Tracking location in background” label (the notification appears and remains). In any case, the device sends back the GPS coordinates and a link to the map to the sender.
Thanks for fixing this!
Remaining issues:
-
The default camera app still cannot handle all rear (auxiliary) cameras—I have to use a GCam port, which works fine together with the additional Fossify Gallery app. Hopefully a future update will allow the default camera app to manage the cameras as well.
-
A minor bug in the weather module of the Maps app: it continues to display the wrong local time, showing what appears to be UTC instead of the actual local time.

Update went smooth and fast. No issues so far.
indeed, it finally worked today… might have been related to the download speed issues mentioned here?
But I think you are aware of that, or some other fla I have seen on gitlab in the revolut issue

So far, so (almost) good : I now have the “Advanced Privacy is running” notification (and its associated shield icon).
This notification seems to be refreshed every few minutes, and can’t be cleared.
If Advanced Privacy blocks a tracker, it claims it in a notification.
The shield icon may be disturbing, triggering false alarms for the user.
It seems I’m the only one to have this problem…
PS : a reboot does not fix that.
You can’t long-tap this notification to display the associated settings cogwheel, follow it to the settings where the respective notification setting gets highlighted by blinking, and then disable this notification there?
Yes, this workaround has fixed the triggering of the notification, many thanks !
The highlighted notification was ‘Tracker control flag’.
I do not remember the status of this notification before updating, but is was default (on ?) for sure.
Edit : it seems the problem is more general to Advanced Privacy.
When I swipe down ( to see the bubbles ‘Bluetooth’, ‘Aeroplane mode’, etc…) I have a message “1 app is active” saying, when developed, that Advanced Privacy is active and running, bla bla bla, it may also affect battery life.
This was not the case before the update.
Hi,
iam pretty new to this “e/os/ rabbit hole” and just yesterday i got my new FP6. Since Yesterday i try to update my FP6 from 3.1.1 to 3.2 but its not possible for me to even download the 3.2.
My Internet works pretty fine, a friend of mine also tried to download 3.2 with the same result. Downloadspeeds crash to bytes until it stops.
So any “offical” Source or other kind of possiblities to get this update?
ty for ur help

Google Pixel 7 formerly with Android Stock ROM version 15 (panther-bp1a.250505.005.b1-factory-f3671e06.zip) (downgraded from version 16).
Followed instructions to install IMG-e-3.2-a15-20251022539003-official-panther.zip by command line. But last step “Install /e/OS” 3.2 from /e/ Recovery via adb sideload not possible - signature verification failed (error 21).
Validated sha256 and md5 checksum of the downloaded image - is correct.
Verified that smartphone is started in /e/ Recovery - it is “version 3.2 ()”.
Repeated the procedure multiple times - always the same error.
Any ideas? I also opened an issue on GitLab.
I would say the documentation is wrong.
Please check the steps here from FP6
When an image file is involved then the process is different. That change was recently but documentation didn’t change yet I would say. You need just the part where bash is used with the executable file. Hope you know what I mean?
When locking the bootloader please check again the panther installation.
I can’t check the content of the zips of panther, if you are uncertain, please ask
Hello,
in the discussion starting from here Fairphone Moments - #6 by Nedo I read that apparently the slider/hardware switch/lime-green-colored-button of the FP6 can be set to “do nothing” on the default “Android OS” of the FP6, while it is to me not yet clear if that can be done also on /e/OS 3.2-a15 given that the release notes say “Switch customization is now available!” in the “The Fairphone (Gen. 6)” section.
Afaic I’d like to have the possibility to set that switch to “do nothing” on /e/OS (3.2 and above).
Can anyone shed some additional details with respect to what was already said in the above mentioned discussion?
Thank you
Thank you, mihi. I managed to install it with the script.
@Manoj Installation documentation should be updated concerning the official build 3.2 (A15) for Google Pixel 7 (panther).
Thanks for pointing this out. Will have the guide updated.

I would like to thanks the team for this new android version for my FP5.
But…
APP lounge does not work anymore with anonymous account. Impossible to load a new app or to update apps. Moreover, I do not want to create a google account in order to use App lounge. So I hope a fix soon. Please, Murena /e/os team, could you tell me when ?
Best regards.
