Update went well. However I just noticed that while the phone was passing basic play integrity check under e/os v3.2, it now fails this basic level on v3.3. My banking apps don’t seem affected and still work ok apparently so I may be lucky! Has anyone had the same experience?
Well, isn’t it just one casting function? /e/ OS, as an Android mimic, can’t cast and isn’t compatible with the Android system, making it impossible to cast to a TV. microG crashes every time. Since v3.2, it doesn’t crash, but it won’t cast either. It can recognize the casting device but cannot connect.
It’s great that you have gotten some third-party apps working. I looked it over, but it doesn’t seem to solve the problem for me. Maybe if I upgrade to a new TV.

The update went smoothly, apart from the download issues as mentioned by others.
I am very surprised by the delay of this release, but I’m glad that it includes the last security updates. Now, I hope the next one will not leave us behind in terms of security patches.
Issues that persist:
App Lounge still not loading updates. Luckily, I found out about the workaround with Aurora Store and the spoofing, but it’s ridiculous that some users haven’t been able to update apps since October. (Also, if you use Aurora, remember to denylist apps like microG - thanks @mihi for the reminder)
Phone is not switching between day and night mode automatically.
Maybe also mention that apps should be blacklisted in Aurora, others will read your ‘solution’ and then the will try to update microg which can’t be done

I bought the device with /e/OS pre-installed.
Due to the hassles with downloading, I downloaded the OTA image via wget and updated to 3.3-a15-20251210556408-official-FP6 via that local file. The update itself went smoothly, and I have used the phone since without finding any degradation with respect to 3.2. In particular, I did not encounter problems with the FP camera app, device registration, updates via App Lounge, …
The other issue I reported in my feedback for 3.2 turned out to be related to an activated “Auto-confirm unlock” option in the “Screen lock” settings. Once I turned this option off, the “delete” and “enter” buttons became visible.
This crashing of MicroG is very annoying. Getting a pop-up about it every other hour or so. Anything I can provide in terms of logs to shed light on this issue?

I have the alert of MicroG closing (/crashing) regularly too. MicroG self-check looks good.
I also seem to have missed a couple of push notifications, which may or may not be related to the MicroG issue.
I’m on the official build with locked bootloader as well. Strange that I don’t get basic integrity anymore. But as mentionned my banking apps don’t seem to complain so far.
