Update went smooth but I noted problems with apps updates In AppLounge. More and more apps failed to install after an update is downloaded. on 3.6 only Citibank APP behaved like that, now there are more.
Suggest an issue be created for the password app in gitlab as the testers would need logs to work on this. In parallel will pass on the information to the team.

Update went smoothly.
Only issue so far is Android Auto keeps crashing every 30 minutes or so. I have the Google pretend stubs installed.

Nevermind. It just rebooted on its own after 4 days of uptime since upgrade to 3.7

The update downloaded quickly and installation went smoothly. (Almost) everything works perfectly.
I would really appreciate it if the /e/OS developers could further improve the default camera app so that it supports all four rear cameras of the device.
Until now (on Android 14 and 15), I used LMC 8.4 R18 GCam with the Lmc8.4_R17_Prashant_Premium_108mp.xml configuration file. However, this configuration is not fully compatible with Android 16.
That said, I actually find the default camera app much cleaner and more intuitive in terms of UI and layout compared to GCam. It would definitely be worth investing a bit more effort into improving it.
Same problem, as I am not 13 years old anymore, I donât use emoticons.
You can easily go back to old configuration: settings - system - keyboard - keyboard on screen - click on keyboard on screen - Preferences - Show Emoji (DISABLE, it is the 4th entry in my FP).

KeePassDX is no longer able to open databases after the update. The Files app can also no longer be used to âtap to open with another appâ, e.g. tapping an image file and opening it with the Gallery app, the Gallery app opens but with a blank/white screen instead of the image; doing the same with e.g. Fossify File Manager works as expected.
The problem is more wide-spread, see earlier posts, I am just adding a âme tooâ coin to the well.

First of all, thanks for maintaining these builds â really appreciated.
Quick report on a sensor issue that persists across versions:
Device: Samsung Galaxy S20 FE (r8s, Exynos)
Build: e-3.7-a15-community (updated OTA from 3.6, clean boot)
Previous: e-3.6-a15, same issue
Issue: Gyroscope and compass/magnetometer are not detected. Apps that rely on them (e.g. Stellarium: âCannot detect sensors on this device: sensor mode disabledâ) fall back to manual mode.
Working: Accelerometer (auto-rotate works fine), proximity, light sensor.
My best guess is an incomplete sensor HAL in the device tree, but I wanted to flag it in case itâs already known or on your radar. Happy to provide logs (logcat, dumpsys sensorservice) if useful â just let me know what would help.

A bit of daily observation with random reboots:
it seems to occur whenever cell signal is low to null.
I upgraded to 3.7 on April 15th. Had no reboot until I arrived in a low signal area on april 19.
Today, apr 20th it rebooted 5 times as I was moving within that area in a 7km radius.
We will be releasing a v3.7.1 which has updates to the Browser, We are also working on adding patches to resolve the issue reported here

Issues : since update 3.7, none of my Audiobooks Apps work anymore (Voice, Smart Audiobooks).
These apps lost access to the phone files and I cannot fin a way to turn them on again. Only the Murena Music App has access to the files now. Quite annoying.
Edit : I sew that file access is a common issue for 3.7 and will be addressed with a 3.7.1 patch. Thanks !

Since the update the App. of Swissquote Bank does not let me to login (Again) â I had this problem before and it was fixed in the version 3.1.4 (Swissquote App not working with e/OS - #8 by TripleJ)
The error says that the app does not work because I have e/OS or LineageOS or the device is rooted.
