I can confirm, the sound in every APP on the phone, like signal, fritzphone, whatsApp is totally distorted and high pitched.

Can’t use the phone now, 90% phone usage are calls in these APPs.

Feedback (Fairphone 6)

  • downloading took about 10 minutes.
  • installing about 4 minutes
  • tested the most important apps like bank, business apps. All works fine.

Thanks to the team to have offered an android upgrade to FP4’s owner, from A14 to A16, despite the complain rising here on remaining bugs.

Murena was, is, and will, as always, hearing and willing to take remarks from phone’s users to help improve the eOS. It is sometimes frustrating because it takes some time, often judged too long, to resolve raised malfunctions, but this is the difference with a bigger provider. I have experienced it myself as well.

Choosing eOS is a way of seeing and living our relation to the tech, with his down sides. The benefits offered are, at my opinion, much greater than the constraints.

Has anybody tested Fairphone 4 with BT headset or connection to the car in combination with Signal? What about the sound?

Has anybody tested MiraCast? Does it work again?

Download and install were fast ! All is ok Bliss is smooth at last ! I can use delete in app search bar with gboard at last again. So far this version much better ! Thanks @murena

Fairphone 6: LE audio toggle now works on Bluetooth device. It does reduce the audio quality though. The battery indicator also does not work over LE Audio.

Also unable to have calls with my partner on the Fairphone 4 now. Very sad this was pushed into the stable release channel

Updated FP6 to 4.3, haven’t yet experienced any issue’s.

There have been no changes from the development side. Are you still facing an issue here.

I’m on FP6 4.1. I skipped updating to 4.2 because of the issues reported by others, now 4.3 is available on my device. Should I update directly 4.1 –> 4.3 or is it better step by step 4.1 –> 4.2 –> 4.3?

Hi all

My Motorola edge 20 pro (pstar) is currently on 4.2 A14.

Will there be a 4.3 A14 or will I have to upgrade to A15 or A16? If I have to upgrade can I do a local upgrade by downloading the relevant image files and doing a dirty upgrade, without wiping data?

Can I go directly from A14 to A16?
