I guess im dumb. Have a Galaxy S9 which i dont use, and for the life of me cannot figure this out ( Using linux ). Either heimdall does not see my phone, or something else completely

Are you using high quality USB cable? I was struggling with the same problem until I got an expensive USB cable.
