Foundation.e.mail - authentication issues

Mail app suddently/randomly failing with -authentication failed- error mesage.

When reviewing server settings it fails with -login error, incorrect username/password-

This happens on wifi and mobile data, while hiding and using my actual IP in Advanced Privacy.

Mail app was working fine for the last couple of months.

Sometimes it works after turning Airplane mode on/off or rebooting… Sometimes it won’t.

Mail app ver 6.711
e/os 2.0-t-20240507399779-dev-dre (no updates)

I saw that, but I am not using Firefox.

I checked this other post…

In my case, I use the default foundation.e.mail app to check my personal outlook.

As mentioned, my authentication problem happens randomly.

Has nothing to do with Outlook oauth (at the moment)

Pl can you raise an issue in gitlab after checking if the issue has not already been raised. That way I can ask the developer to check why this is happening. They would also want some logs from you. In case you have not raised issues on gitlab this guide would be helpful.
