I have got this error when logging in to snappy mail on murena.io for the last two weeks.
It seems related to the server because it does work from time to time or when trying a lot of time in a row without changing my configuration.
Even weirder: emails on my phone are working perfectly, so it seems only related to logging in to snappy server from murena.io and even when the account is already connected in the rest of the cloud.
This is too bad because I started to use murena as my main email
Hello, thanks a lot for your message, I tried to find a similar case but did not type the ssl error in search
I confirm that the problem “comes” from firefox, this is happening quite often as web developpers only test on chromium based browsers. That is quite regrettable.
If the snappy or murena teams can fix this, that would make sens regarding the open source and data privacy orientation of murena project.
EDIT See latest messages below, the problem is not dependent on web browser but only on certificate validity checking.
Hello
same here. So it was blamed on Firefox, somewhere I saw something that it was about Snappymails certificate?. But it should work on chromium based browsers, so it worked in Vivaldi once, and now Vivaldi comes with the same message "Server message: Can’t connect to host “ssl://mail.ecloud.global:993” " as well. Any other suggestions?
Yes, it is not related to Firefox after all, like you, I confirm that I have now the same problem with Edge !
Hope that we can still send and receive email from our phones.
Those certificates make the life of small websites hard
