You asked in three different places … but I think the problem simply arose from accepting an App Lounge system update issued as a hotfix for e-3.4. There is more reading you could do on the subject. Having a more clear warning on the hotfix might have been helpful.
I have the same problem and reverted to the factory version as suggested by JimGemini. However within 24 hours the system updated it to v1.4.4 and now it does not work anymore. This is a real pain as I spent 15 minutes typing in all my tasks again since the update erased all of them. Is there anyway to prevent the automatic update pending the /e/OS update ?
On App Lounge, in “parameters” you can disable the checkbox for automatic updates. This will prevent update once you downgraded TASKS App to factory version.
If your problem has been compounded in an unhelpful way I suggest first to check with a PC that Tasks is fully in sync and up to date on murena.io.
Then you might experiment on your phone to Clear cache | data within Tasks app.
While you reported downgrading the Tasks hotfix you might experiment with uninstall the hotfix, fully power down the phone, restart and try again on e-3.4 to install Tasks 1.4.4.
While on Gitlab:
Edit With reference to Account Manager it may be helpful to Clear cache there.
Same here. AppLounge does not offer any system app updates so no 1.4.4 for me and therefore can’t fix the issue. Devs should provide alternative ways to get apks or at least in cases like this because AppLounge is not reliable.
