I cannot receive text messages from iphone users with my Fairphone 6 and v3.3. Tested with two iphone users.
Works fine with other smartphones, and worked fine with v3.2 even with iphones.
Are you sure that iMessages are disabled for your phone number ? If you were previously an iPhone user and haven’t disabled it before switching, other iPhones think that you are available on iMessage and don’t try to send by text
