FP6: Switch not working when screen is locked

Hi there!

When the screen is locked and I change the FP6 switch to switch off/on the microphone and camera, I can see the appropriate message in a message box.
But when I unlock the phone and check the settings then there is no change compared to the last state.

Version of /e/OS: FP6 4.0 A15 official

Do you have the same problem?

Yes, for me its the same.

For me it is not.

I use the switch for air plane mode, and when turned to air plane mode it remains there after unlocking.

FP6 on v4

Where can I change the function of the switch?

Then I can retest with different functions.

You’re right, with air plane mode it works.
But when setting it back to mic/camera then it doesn’t work when the phone is locked.

For me the switch works but just after the first activation: i.e. if i have the phone locked and i pull down the switch to activate the torch,it won’t do nothing until i move it back to top and down again, as if the first movement only woke up the phone and the second actually was read and executed.

This happens only after a few minutes, if i lock the phone and immediately try to use the switch, it works normally.

Thanks for your information.
Can you test the switch with microphone/camera on/off-functionality? This doesn’t work for me.

Summary:

  • Airplane mode: works
  • Flashlight: works
  • Microphone/camera on/off: doesn’t work
