It’s a cool device, if I can use it without google, it would be great.

Okay, I have tried to edit my first post but for some reason, I cannot. That is why I will reply to this one in an attempt to make my request more detailed. The phone I mention is the Samsung Galaxy A16 4G/LTE, international model with dual-sim, model name: SM-A165F. It is the budget phone line-up for samsung and for some reason, no one makes a custom rom for it. I do not think the phone is bad since it has a OLED display, 6GB RAM and 128GB storage, processor seems decent; but, still no support. This is my first time using Android and I clearly have not done my homework before going with this decision. What I was looking for was to get rid of Apple’s restrictions yet now I am just restricted by Samsung. At least due to not buying this phone from USA, I can unlock my bootloader. I guess I ranted too long, my question is whether this device ever be supported and why no one (like lineageos) is not supporting it. Is it really that unpopular?
Same here. My FP3 is too old now, and I got this A16 from my mom and wanted to put /e/OS on it.
Might be something to do with a lack of IMS(VoLTE) on Samsungs, if you’re not using stock ROM. Search the forum for ‘Samsung VoLTE’ to read more on this.
We are asked
I guess your phone is
"Samsung","Galaxy A16","a16","SM-A165F"
Maybe install GSI gsi would work for you ??
I see no Custom ROMs for a16
, so no /e/OS at this time.
