I want to give some feedback on this build: Unofficial Pi/e/ Community Build - s4mini Value Edition SM-i9195i "serranovelte"
Thanks to the author, installed it on my phone and so far it works well and better than the LineageOS 16 build from XDA. Will try for a couple of weeks before giving final feedback.
How does a build goes from unofficial to official so that we can get regular updates?
First good user experience reports on unofficial builds.
Second the more the users asking for the device the better the chances of it getting official support.

I have the same issue as with LineageOS 16: trying to fetch or send a MMS causes the phone to lose the data connectivity until I turn data off and on again (or airplane mode):

as i have seen that you also reported this on the Lineage16.0 XDA-thread i assume it comes from the sources that i build with and has to be adressed maybe on github at the Device tree sources, I don t have capabilities or knowledge to fix that

I’ll go back to Lineage 14 then I think.
Apart from that I had only minor issues, loved the /e/ integration, great work. Will try it again in a few years when I have to change my phone.
