Having issues using murena.io on a non-e rom with DavX5

Hey there.

I am using murena.io as my cloud backend on non e-rom based roms for a while now.
Sadly since months (I guess it is already 11 month) I had terrible issues with syncing.

So today I thought it would be a nice idea to remove my murena.io account from DavX5 on a LineageOS-MicroG rom and try to re-add it, but it does not work.

I try a lot of combinations for the base-url:

I create a post some years ago where I ask for the settings here. But this is not working anymore.
And here is no informations about that:

I would be happy about any hints.

Okay, using the nexcloud option (last login option in DavX5) and typing in murena.io make it possible to login again.
A page is opened then where you need to login. I use the second option there to use app-keys. I generated them in the security area on murena.io

But it still seems that I have sync issues using this at all…
The refresh on DavX5 for example took several minutes.

I have been using the murena cloud and DAVx5 with no problems, on /e/OS, los4microg, and IodéOS ROMs

My experience is a s follows:

  • The url should be murena.io - ecloud.global will not work
  • The username should be your @e.email or @murena.io email address. Note that the two addresss are not interchangeable: if you got an @e.email address when you set up your account, you must use that, @murena.io will not work; if your original address was @murena.io you must use that, @e.email will not work

THX for your informations. Really important for me.

Perhaps my problem is more like with inviting the other person with the non-main domainname (eg. created with e-email but now murena.io).

I am in contact with murena-io support but after initial info changes no reply yet.
