When I’m trying to save for screen lock method “pattern”, “pin” or “password” the setting would’t be changed. Only “none” oder “swipe” is possible to save.
Is there someone who can help?

I have the same problem: I cannot encrypt the screen with a password. I always get the error message “The screen lock has already been activated (…)”. Is it perhaps due to the Android version? It worked with an older one (on another S9). Can anyone help?
