How to update from version 1.5?

Hi Folks!
I’m using a Fairphone 3+ and it looks like I haven’t update the system since october of '22. I’m having an issue with Car Sharing - the phone is showing my location as being very far away - and I heard that this issue was fixed in later versions of eos.

But now I just don’t know how to update. Usually I would go to the system updates, click the refresh button, and just download and install the latest version. Now it shows no update.

Does that mean I have to manually install the latest version? How do I do that? Is there away to do this without losing all of my data?

This depends on which version exactly you are running … please refer to [HOWTO] Give complete /e/OS version info easily for support, answers, comparison etc.
