I can't seem to save my wireless password

I’ve signed into my home WiFi network, entered the password and clicked Save, but when I restart my phone I have to re-enter my password and sign into WiFi again…as if for the first time.

Any ideas about what I may be doing wrong/missing?

It wouldn’t be such a concern, accept I’m trying to update my APNs so I have mobile data, but I get the message “Access Point Name settings are not available for this user”

I saw someone else had a similar issue last month(Access Point Name settings not available ), and it seemed like it was solved by making sure the phone connected to Wi-Fi immediately before I did anything more drastic, like mailing the phone back to /e/.

Following up to say this issue has been resolved and didn’t have anything to do with /e/.

In case anyone else is having trouble with permissions for Access Point Name settings, I was able to correctly set it up by using these slightly modified APN settings given to me by someone in customer support:
Name: Ultra
Apn: Wholesale
mmsc: http://wholesale.mmsmvno.com/mms/wapenc
Multimedia messaging port: 8080
mcc: 310
Mnc 240
apn type: default,supl,mms

which are similar to what Mint Mobile directs you do to set up APNs (https://www.mintmobile.com/setup/android/) but different enough to work for me.
