hello @pancakse, Welcome to the /e/ forum.

please can you rename the topic into somehing like :

i need arm32-binder64-ab version of GSI

about the moto g play 2023, do you know the codename or the model number ?

What is android version of the current Stock MotorolaOS installed ?

.

Device support (Project Treble)

.
How to install /e/OS GSI on a non supported device?

Once you know which system image you need, download it

The current Android GSI includes the following major variances:

  • CPU architecture. Support for different CPU instructions (ARM, x86, etc.) and CPU bitness (32 bit or 64 bit).
  • 64-bit binder interface. In Android 8.x, 32-bit GSIs used the 32-bit binder interface.
Since Android 9 doesn’t support the 32-bit binder interface, so both 32-bit GSIs and 64-bit GSIs use the 64-bit binder interface.

Motorola Moto G Play (2023) - Full phone specifications

current Official /e/-“Q” version is for devices running Android 10 or older…

these are unofficial what if these get discontinued and the sourceforge page for the gsis you sent dont exist

so there will be android 15 based unofficial GSI… in the future

i must have said : last Official /e/ version was for devices running Android 10 or older…
the update / upgrade is awaited since november 2023, and every new week see :

trust me, in matter of getting discontinued, unofficial is more reliable !

alright which one should i download since the sourceforge doesnt exist

Ă” my bad, sorry, try this one eOSBuildsRonnz98 - Browse /GSI at SourceForge.net

# What does “arm32_binder64” mean? #1222
arm32_binder64 = Is the equivalent to A64 ,

its an ARM32 System operating on top of a ARM-Cortex -M Processor that is able to process a 64bit Binder Environment.

Thats the most logical way of understanding it.
What it means in more easier words, its a 32bit cpu , that runs a 64 bit environment. (With this kind of specific CPU its possible to do this)
Example Helio G25 - Redmi 9A, since they’re limited by the cpu and kernel , they run arm32_binder64 systems.

The reason these phones are limited in RAM , they have 2GB , or limited in wifi capabilities and modding MAY perhaps be because of the CPU Arch being stuck on 32bits, indeed… Its not a 64bit processor, thats not true, they lied to us.

so will this work on my moto g play 2023 and how do i install this?

well this has 1 img file
image

i don’t think so, but i am not expert to GSI…

.
currently, only eos_u_2.7_20250112_treble_arm64_bvN.zip seems available,
if it don’t correspond to your device, you could take another device :

devices supported by Unofficial Builds

devices supported by Official Builds

my only other device is a Samsung Galaxy Tab A9+ SM-X210

also how do i install the gsi image from a PC since theres no TWRP for my phone i already got the bootloader unlocked months ago and i downloaded this file eos_u_2.7_20250112_treble_arm64_bvN.img

the one u gave me doesnt work due to the fact thats arm64 i need arm32-binder64-ab aka a64
