I am wondering what version to get of e/os (gsi) cause my phone isnt supported but i wanna test it out so which one do i get i need arm32-binder64-ab and i dont see that in this list Arm A, Arm A/B, Arm64 A, Arm64 A/B], Binder 64 A and Binder 64 A/B wondering which one of those should i get
(my phone is a moto g play 2023)
The current Android GSI includes the following major variances:
CPU architecture. Support for different CPU instructions (ARM, x86, etc.) and CPU bitness (32 bit or 64 bit).
64-bit binder interface. In Android 8.x, 32-bit GSIs used the 32-bit binder interface.
Since Android 9 doesn’t support the 32-bit binder interface, so both 32-bit GSIs and 64-bit GSIs use the 64-bit binder interface.
the codename is maui it is running android 13 model number is XT2271-5 btw my bootloader is already unlocked and treble info says my phone supports project treble
so there will be android 15 based unofficial GSI… in the future
i must have said : last Official /e/ version was for devices running Android 10 or older…
the update / upgrade is awaited since november 2023, and every new week see :
trust me, in matter of getting discontinued, unofficial is more reliable !
its an ARM32 System operating on top of a ARM-Cortex -M Processor that is able to process a 64bit Binder Environment.
Thats the most logical way of understanding it.
What it means in more easier words, its a 32bit cpu , that runs a 64 bit environment. (With this kind of specific CPU its possible to do this)
Example Helio G25 - Redmi 9A, since they’re limited by the cpu and kernel , they run arm32_binder64 systems.
The reason these phones are limited in RAM , they have 2GB , or limited in wifi capabilities and modding MAY perhaps be because of the CPU Arch being stuck on 32bits, indeed… Its not a 64bit processor, thats not true, they lied to us.
also how do i install the gsi image from a PC since theres no TWRP for my phone i already got the bootloader unlocked months ago and i downloaded this file eos_u_2.7_20250112_treble_arm64_bvN.img
