The Updater app showed me the version 2.6.4 of /e/OS (I am on v2.5) when I was told it was only possible to update to it manually via a computer… What is going on?
The /e/OS version number is not the only thing relevant, there’s the underlying Android version to consider, too.
Most probably you are being offered an update within the same Android version via the updater, which would be normal.
Fore more details some more info is needed … [HOWTO] Give complete /e/OS version info easily for support, answers, comparison etc
Almost everyone thought because U was released there will be no more T builds. And the e/OS/Team surprised us.
The initial idea was to make users switch to the latest builds. What we saw was many users still preferring the older builds and reluctant to jump to the next.
This was the reason why we reverted to the previous model of maintaining 2 OS version builds as long as it is possible. That way users are not pressurized to jump to the next OS version and can continue to use it and only switch when they are ready or the older version has issues like applications not working …
I am on 2.5-t-20241109446839-community-miatoll
, the update is going to be just an A13 build right?
This is correct … /e/OS community miatoll download (visible once you expand the “Android T(13)” part there).
