Left and right cursor buttons = arrow keys = navbar arrow setting ... might be gone soon-ish

To whom it may concern … which are users who (like me) enabled Settings - System - Buttons - Show arrow keys while typing …

These super useful buttons to move the text cursor one character to the left or right while typing were removed from LineageOS 22.2 based on Android 15 QPR2 (after LineageOS 22.1 was based on QPR1 and still had the buttons).

/e/OS is based on LineageOS, and /e/OS based on Android 15 is being prepared … [LIST] Supported devices which would receive an AOSP 15 or /e/OS V build[LIST] New devices which will be added with AOSP 15 or /e/OS V

Edit: /e/OS Android 15 will be based on LineageOS 22.2.

Quite a few third party keyboards implement their own cursor movement keys.

e.g. unexpected keyboard.

or Fcitx

and FlorisBoard you can edit the superbar to include them.

Some keyboards also allow swiping on the space bar to move the cursor (although, not with the same degree of accuracy)
