I think the term “official” is now reserved for Murena’s /e/OS builds for devices they sell (or used to sell). These builds used to be called “stable”.
As far as I know, “Unofficial” is, well, an unofficial label. Perhaps someone can clarify if “unofficial” is still different from “community” builds (as I would guess) or not. For “Official” vs. “Community” (the latter previously called “dev”) builds, see https://doc.e.foundation/devices.
Unfortunately this is waaaaay beyond my knowledge of Android.
What I do want to express here is that Murena needs new(er) and actual devices to stay alive. Maybe put a little dramatic, but still. I mean it’s nice that a OnePlus 3 from 2015 is still supported, but to some people speed and camera quality are important. That’s what I’m saying.
thanks! greetings from Argentina, im using a Moto G7 Power as a daily smartphone with /e/OS and im really happy to see that my phone its going to have android 14 upgrade!
