Lineage OS also didn’t upgrade it to newer version…
Right. This is a prerequisite for eos but either way, the bootloader is no longer able to be unlocked so only those w legacy versions can use it. No new installs.
Please note : The following supported community device have been removed from the upgrade list as the A14 or /e/OS U builds are failing for them. The team will work on getting the builds to build and if successful release them as part of future releases.

Too bad, the build 2.6-beta-u-20241123450121-community-evert works perfect for me as far as I can judge.
I also use the U beta version and it worked pretty well, except for a few things but very stable, I suppose the compilation for evert will return around version 2.7 or something like that.
Hello, were is the 2.6 update for fairphone 4? I cannot see it while searching for updates on my fp4
Thks
It’s great to hear that phones that have been at some point sold at Murena store are kept upgraded as long as it’s possible. It’s amazing that I’m still using 6 years old device as my main phone.
But as an owner of a Samsung S9 (starlte), it would be nice to see the phone on these lists so that I would know is there still a future for my “old war horse” or should I start to save some money for a new /e/OS phone.
Has the list of murena devices getting the upgrade been shared ? I haven’t seen any murena devices except fairphone 4 in the list of devices said to be upgraded. This list isn’t also shown in the release notes. Will it be shared ?
All devices we sell on the Murena store are eligible for OS upgrades. OTA where possible. The build teams work to develop the upgrades. Some devices can be too old or have different partition structures which make them incompatible with latest OS versions and can miss out on getting upgrades. We do share the information on the upgrades through the weekly updates.
From this set of devices, the following will be getting the /e/OS U build along with v2.7 release which should come around mid of January 2025

When will fairphone 3 get U?
FP3 got U already … /e/OS community FP3 download
Questions remaining:
When will the official/stable builds reach Android 14 (U)? … /e/OS official FP3 download
Is it planned to prepare an OTA upgrade via the updater from Android 13 (T) to Android 14 (U) for FP3? … No mention yet in Week 53/1 , 2024,2025: Development and Testing Updates
Android 13 (T) should get security updates until early 2026, though, if prior Android versions are any indication.
Also curious when official/stable android 14 is going to be released, but than fot FP5. See the community builds have A14 since latest update.
Will this be in 2.7?
I’ve updated Fairphone 3+ to 2.6 but still showing A13 not A14. Will this occur wit 2.7?
Not if you use an ‘Official’ build, then you will receive it OTA, just be patient…
Android version upgrades via the updater (so-called OTA upgrades) need to be specially prepared and tested by the development team.
You can follow proceedings by checking the weekly posts in Topics tagged development-updates , respectively section “OS OTA Related information”.
You will have to wait until an OTA upgrade for FP3 to Android 14 (U) pops up there under “Completed”.
Note that even if an OTA upgrade is being prepared, it will only be for stable/official builds. In case you are on dev/community builds, upgrading will have to be done manually and you don’t need to bother waiting for an OTA upgrade.
Here’s how to find out whether you are on stable/official or not … [HOWTO] Give complete /e/OS version info easily for support, answers, comparison etc
Mine’s “… official …” not “…dev…”.
I have a miatoll, is it normal that I have not recieved the v2.6 update yet? If yes, when should I expect it?
